hairbraiding

[misschameleon]
Hello. I've been watching this group for some time - been fairly quiet.

I have a question. I have straight brown hair that's almost waist-length, layered, and I'd like to know if there's anything beyond a simple plait that I can do with it. (I don't know anything more than that.)

Many things! French, Dutch, and lace braids will pick up the layers, and can be arranged artfully in many configurations. Most of what's on www.dreamweaverbraiding.com would be accessible to you in some way.

You can do plenty with it - it just might take some practice to keep the ends from sticking out.

www.dreamweaverbraiding.com for instructions on various braid styles.

I recommend posting over at the longhair community...there are a lot of interesting things over there. http://community.livejournal.com/longhair/profile

I would suggest bunning, using some fun hairsticks. Layering can be hard to deal with, unfortunately. I strongly suggest you x-post this at longhair for more ideas.
